Branch of seapurslane (Sesuvium portulacastrum) at Cerro Dragon, Isla Santa Cruz, Galapagos. The cogener S. edmonstonei can also be found in the archipelago (and might be an endemic) but it has white flowers and thicker leaves. Both are prostrate halophytes and are edible just in case you become stranded.
